Feed types fed to livestock are part of the food chain. Our members have been applying quality assurance and management standards in their companies for many years in order to do justice to this responsibility.
Extensive raw material checks, traceability via tracking and tracing systems, transparent processes and individual HACCP concepts guarantee high standards in feed manufacture and ensure that quality and safety is maintained. The continual development of joint standards is one of the association’s main tasks.
All BFaN member companies participate in nationally and internationally certified quality management systems such as QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH, GMP, OVOCOM, IFIS standard, etc.
