The recycling of valuable resources is becoming increasingly important against the backdrop of climate change. The Federal Association for By-Products as Animal Feed is committed to achieving a true closed-loop economy together with its member companies: failed batches, damaged goods, surplus produce or production residues, for instance in the bread and bakery products or confectionery industries, are processed into high-quality straight or compound feeds and are thus returned to the food chain.
We are convinced that the processing of former foodstuffs into high-quality feed is the most cost-effective and environmentally form of recycling for such substances.
